This sounds cheesy, but it's the way my brain sees this video. I like to imagine Taylor as a totally sheltered child, totally unaware of the world around her. In this case, the world is going to be based around music, because what else is really important besides that? She's learning what music does to you at a deeper level other than get stuck in your head. And John Paul and Joy are like two spirits of music because every time they sing something, it's a beautiful and haunting harmony that Taylor watches them make and she gets nestled deeper into what music can really FEEL like with each note. Each time one of them sing, Taylor turns and stares in what seems like awe and I think that makes this performance beautiful. And by the end of the whole song, she's the one facing forward, staring at the crowd, giving them what she has just been given.

I know that there is still some people don't accept she has a great voice, saying that some kind of pitch changes. Think another way, will you find someone that can't sing to sing your song and to make some changes on it, don't they directly find the one on your opinion is the 'best'.

I saw the Civil Wars do a full concert in a record store for about 100 people, just them and one guitar. It was awesome. She seemed to be so fond of him, borderline flirtatious (really, she was straight out flirtatious, I'm just trying to be kind). I wonder if sexual tension between the two caused them to go their separate ways, because I believe they're both in relationships. I'm so bummed they broke up.
