why headphones? It is because of the recording process. We first recorded a ghost track with piano and vocals together. Then,she listened to this while recording the piano again separately (and not singing--so she could concentrate on playing the piano). Then we recorded the vocals and deleted the ghost tracks. The video shows the second stage (recording the piano).
