Wow, shame the drums all sound like a wood box. :p Maybe Pearl should stick to Latin stuff, and leave the kits to Ludwig...unless it's due to those awful Evans heads...My opinion, I like Ludwig Vistalites, DW 4000 singles, Sabian signature, and paragons. I like a LOT of resonance and depth on drum sounds. Think power and OOMPH. ie, Led Zeppelin. Journey during Steve Smith. I like black dots or Remo coated Ambassadors on a smaller Sakae cocktail kit. It's not at all bad for what I paid for my ride (just over 600.00, new). And a 402 snare, as Bonham intended. Best one I've run across. Cuts through an oak tree if you'd let it. DW also makes nice drums, they sound easier to mike, but they're hideously expensive. He's a very good drummer, though. Shame they sound so horrible. As for copyright, my friend is a trademark/copyright lawyer in Chicago. She says YouTube cover videos like this should be no big deal. Make some commentary about something on the part or with the band. Now it's educational. 8 years ago
