My mom was about a year older than her and always had music like this going, and seemingly every office had stations cued with music like this. I remember countless times sitting and waiting on her (doctor visit, riding in car, etc.) or going somewhere and this, basically anything Whitney Houston, Laura Branigan, Bananarama, etc. songs continually playing. Saw this on a whim while going over the top 100 charts in the mid-late 80's and remembered it, and out of nostalgia played. Funny I remembered nearly every part of the song. She was GORGEOUS by the way. Still a good looker today too. I'd sell my soul to go back and relive 81' to about 91' (with present memories in tact), assuming I had one, to relive that golden era. Despite being heavily commercialized, it just worked. Some of the greatest, highest-quality songs ever made came from this era.
