I am blessed to have recorded a version of this song with Chris Youlden in 1979

Still sounds great even by today's 'standards'.

@whitewitchoz It's also a bad-ass album cover.

Bob Brunning, the bassist on this song, died on October 18, 2011 (heart attack). Bob was actually the original bassist with Fleetwood Mac (yep, before McVie) but he left when McVie joined. If you ever hear Fleetwood Mac's "Long Grey Mare", that's the one song Brunning recorded with them.

There's a guy named Steve in Evanston, IL who owns a store called Vintage Vinyl. John Cusak used him and his store as a loose model for the film "High Fidelity". He actually has some of the old 60's sampler albums on CD! Some of the stuff I used to find on those albums I've never seen elsewhere.

Wow you too huh?I lived in Europe in the early 70's when I first heard this classic off of "World of Blues Power" (the old Decca release you mentioned)I played this album over and over. Sure takes me back.

The photo of the guy on the album cover looks like it influenced the look of the cartoon character Shaggy from Scooby Doo , because I know this came out first.

OK, another four months...this was one of my favorite Savoy Brown tunes. For years I only had it on an old Decca sampler of blues/rock folks like Peter Green, Eddie Boyd, etc. I FINALLY found this import album and realized that it was from there. No US release!
