Her eyes slipped around mine like a pair of swords along the edge of a wall. She stormed in before I had the chance to say anything , shot for the wine rack and grabbed, with random precision, a bottle of cheap 1985 merlot. Why '85? Never told her my age............................................................................................................................................. She has trouble opening it ,she hands it to me with the arm stretched puting miles in between us and collapses on the sofa.
