I bought the album today. I was a bit disappointed in the sense I expected Colors in the Dark to be a bit more like My Winter Storm. The songs sound very different... odd, "confusing", chaotic with their changing mood, at the same time they were beautiful due to the fact Tarja has an amazing voice :)That's when I realized how well each single song fit the theme of the album, and that this pretty much represents her inner struggles (hence, "Colors in the Dark")Heck even the booklet fits the theme.... inside booklet - dark; outside blooklet - colorful, at the same time tarja on the front cover is dressed in a dark dress - the pages inside of it show her with colored face... so much symbolism there!this album is truly a piece of art... It's different, but once you embrace the differences, it'll blow you away!
