She does some Nightwish songs because these songs all some of her hit songs, her fans love to listen Old Nightwish songs with the original voice, Nightwish and Tarja could be in separate ways now, but I think they are not gonna quit songs like Nemo, Wishmaster or Over the Hills of their Set List. But well, I like her own music best too.

Since this playback is just at some parts and mostly on parts where she needs to sing with 2 voices (whats not makeble on the biological way) ... bad musicians use playback all the time and try to hide it... So do me a favor and kill Urself! :)

Generally, Tarja never really was a "real" opera singer, and neither ever claimed to be one. You can here it at things I mentioned above, and generally at the fact that her vowels never had the roundness, her general voice never the size of a true opera singer. Her "a"s are "a"s, while with most opera singers, all vowels (except for "eee" maybe) have the tendency to go towards "o" which gives them extra size and that extra penetrating sound. Tarja never had that. And that's totally fine. ;)

I have to say that I like the way she sings this particular song here much better than at the "End of an Era" concert. Although her voice back then was magnificant too, some parts, like the stanzas of "Sleeping Sun" sounded a little thick, too much in the throat at words like "paaaaart" and "craaaaaaaim", because back then she was a little less flexible in mixing style and techniques. I really like how she sings it here. :) Symphnoic Metal picks up some elements of opera but it IS NOT opera. ;)

The Original Fantasy

I know Tarja was the original vocalist for these songs, but it feels wrong for her to sing them on her tours. Those aren't her words, her passion, or her pain. She was just the 'voice' in the band. Not the 'heart'.
