I remember listening to Taproot on my way to school 12 years ago... and then I hear this song on Octane the other day... I'm actually surprised they are still around and still making great music. :D

I'm a HUGE Taproot fan, but they have a habit of choosing the weakest songs on their albums as singles IMO (for the last 2/3 albums at least). I'm sure the album will kick all kinds of ass, but I'm not digging this song at all, even after a good 10 or so listens. The Microsoft Sam stuff is kinda stupid. The chorus is catchy, but I'm not enjoying the rest of it. Oh, and the drummer's moustache looks utterly ridiculous. I miss Jarrod :(

im just saying it is their worst single - since 1998. i love the band, and i think there will be better song on the new cd - which could be a single. and i trully hope i am right.

yes, i think so. im not saying the new cd will be bad or sth. i think this song should not be a single. it's not super bad, but not best. this robot guy kills it for me :/ oh, and they DO change their style. try to compare gift to olrh

@mordred4 You might think so, but they are one of those rare band that never change their style. They are growing as musicians, but you never know this new CD might be a strong release.
