A really enjoyable song for me...one that I can use to identify a specific time in my life. Also, I love how he puts on a lisp to say "lisper" at the start of the second verse. Lithper!! Not knocking anyone who has a lisp...just think it's a neat songwriting device.

I bought the album in 2006 on th e strength of a 10 second clip of Insistor, listened to it once and put it on the shelf. Moved house a few months ago, my music collection is in a mess so I picked up "The Loon" on a whim and...damn...this is a fantastic track from a fantastic, under apreciated album.
