I've always loved Tanya Tucker, and this is my all-time favorite song by her. It's too bad the great "Tear Me Apart" album and the singles from it went unnoticed when they came out. I guess it was too rock for country radio, and rock radio thought of her as a country singer. Randy Barlow had a country hit with this song at the end of 1979, the same time Tanya's version should have also been a hit.

Do you have a song by Tanya Tucker called The River and The Wind? Also one more I can't find that starts out with , "I'm the singer, you're the song, you write the words I sing along. We gonna make it to the top, baby we won't stop, I know we'll show en all someday. So baby come and love me now, if you don't know ....." you get the idea if you know these songs. I know the words to both these songs but I'm not sure of the titles and want to track down the music. Can you help?? Nancy B.
