"Bittersweet" does suit the song well. Everyone will have different thoughts on it. She sings it with heart and it's meant to make you listen. The older the listener, the sweeter the song becomes, the deeper it touches your own heart.

The song went to number two on the charts. I know this because I know the writer of this song. A ghost writer named ronald hairston-my uncle-. I remeber when I was a kid myself, my sister, and my grandma used to listen to the radio every sunday and listen to the top 40 countdown.

@5prettyboy1, this actually got significant airplay on the now-defunct 93.9 KZLA. The market seems so much better in the Inland Empire for Tanya's music.
