Recuerdo en mi niñez, las grandes mesas de domingo, llenas de risas, comentarios y recuerdos, con los tíos, primos, sobrinos... y hasta el cura. La pasta hecha en casa, el vino "delle Cinque Terre" y la vieja vitrola del nonno que sonaba las canciones de Carlo Buti, viendo el sus ojos la añoranza de la patria lejana. Long have I wondered, and now I know the theme of this song. Thank you, as always, for the lyric, and especially the translation of this one. It reminds me, in sentiment only, of "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda".
