Just got a Silverstar kit and it's badass. Truly a "Poor man's Recording Custom". Thinner shells than the old Artstars and Superstars and more "vintage" flavored but still has the definition and singing tone you expect from birch. The snare drum is killer!11 years ago

Bought the Silverstar Custom drumkit almost 2 years ago this December in the transparent BlueBurst lacquer and it's truly something to admire not to mention the resonance I'm getting in an old, country manor with wooden beams and rock walls ... wouldn't part with this kit and add the Zildjian series and whoa!11 years ago
