I always thought this song was about David Berkowitz, but I looked it up on Rolling Stone magazine's site and read about it. this song was written and performed a couple of years before the .44 Caliber Killer, Son of Sam went on his killing spree and the song had a few different lyrics. it was pretty bizarre that this version we all know was released as a single right around the time Berkowitz was caught. 9 years ago
