The duo of Frantz and Weymouth is what creates the driving force of all Heads songs. Listen to the pounding Frantz is giving those skins! Tina's bass lines are not only funkily sexy, but completely wed to the lead given her by Byrne and Frantz. Certainly the marriage between Frantz and Weymouth in 1977, right after the first album was released, is a huge explanation for Talking Heads' amazing songs and performances.

. . . Saw this performed by a dance troupe in 1980 @ the Anti-Metric Foot Ball down at the South Street Seaport Museum ... Anyone else? ... Fun times, and quite prescient.
