"Take Five" is a jazz piece written by Paul Desmond and performed by The Dave Brubeck Quartet on their 1959 album Time Out. Recorded at Columbia's 30th Street Studios in New York City on June 25, July 1, and August 18, 1959. This piece became one of the group's best-known records, famous for its distinctive, catchy saxophone melody and use of the unusual quintuple (5/4) time, from which its name is derived. This is my fingerstyle guitar arrangement of the classic.

true, 5/4 is much more difficult and thats what makes take five so different from other jazz musicians

You're adding an extra beat in measures 3 & 4 of each A section. Why?

this looks like a right hand full,or maybe a right left hand full plus a lot of counting at the same time.So The left side of the brain is playing the guitar, the right side is creating the groove (thats how the brain works) whos counting all those 5's for you,you must have an extra section to your brain that we dont have.Great Job Gilbert,My brain is working overtime on this !!
