Give these kids a break already. All we musicians had start somewhere. For me it was the old "squeezebox" for a while, then self-taught piano Ended up playing 6 nights a week in Iceland with a 5-piece band, played for one of our Vice=presidents etc bla bla bla. I was nervous too. The kids did a great job, albeit automatically. Well done guys.

Expensive instruments, but still underaverage tone.. something's not right...hate those people, who buy 3000+ bucks clarinet, but play so badly, that they can't use even quarter of their instrument's potential..

Ted - Cruel but well worth it for the funny imo, thx.Mauria - Take a chill pill! And (ahem!) speak not of that which you do not know, for the road to looking like an ass is paved with assuming you're right and smarter than everyone! I mean, thus spake just lil ol me, and I could be wrong and/or look like an ass right now, but at least I keep my mind open to the possibility. Here's the thing: I think the fact that you "listened diligently" to prove that they stayed in 5/4 indicates that you don't know what good time is, and what Ted meant by "lacked soul". Swinging is just part of it, but they obviously weren't swinging. So, I'm sorry to break it to you, but you don't know what you're talking about. Hopefully that criticism will do you some good, just like hopefully the criticism these kids are getting will do them some good. It should. If they think this is good, they'll never get good. And yes, I believe (whatever level these kids are supposed to be at) that this performance is fair game for criticism since they saw fit to present it to the world. I'm (we're) not shitting on THEM for it, I'm (we're) just telling them IT's not good. nbd, r?P.S. I hope you can still understand this, what with all them grammar mistakes and all.
