The Angels, who were recently disbanded due to band-name ownership issues, have now resolved all their differences and reunite for the first time in many years. In celebration, they perform Take A Long Line for Sydney's The Footy Show.

Clip recorded 19th June, 2008.

Clip includes show Footy Show intro with Peter Sterling, and post-song chat with Doc - who still champions that white scarf (and is really showing his age).

Doc would be 62 in this clip. How many 62 year olds could pull this off?? "The Angels, who were recently disbanded due to band-name ownership issues, have now resolved all their differences and reunite for the first time in many years" Repeat. That's where they are now in 2011-12-13.. lmao

Canada does indeed love these guys. It was like thirty-five years ago. I saw them open for--I think--The Boomtown Rats! What a badass show!

@turnaboutintruder Okay, you seem to know more about it than me. I'm sure I recall mention of an addiction to something, perhaps painkiller medication, and definately required for such an accident. Anyway, there was no slander intented.

@PlanetWrok he had no drug addiction, he was on medication when a truck driver slammed into the back of his car, he was never on heroin

@turnaboutintruder I read in a magazine about 10 years ago that he was battling a heroin addiction, or cocaine but I'm sure it was heroin - either way, he definately did have a drug addiction, but he's long clean now.

Saw them in Seattle, Paramount Theater when this album was released. Was my first concert ever as a kid. Brilliant.

@4JayeP Yeah I remember throughout the 80s Doc looked ageless (kinda like Cliff Richard), but time always catches up (with interest!) to those people eventually. Probably the heroin addiction didn't help either.
