If anyone understands the nature of Romanticism...they would understand that sensuous impressions are always in a state of Flux and transitory. History to these people is a flow of energy. Moments come and pass like bubbles pop. Marc Bolan came at the exact moment he was supposed to. Did he die too young? The power and flow of historical events are too powerful for one soul to fight. In his song spaceball ricochet he clearly acknowledges how small he is but he enjoys living. In the song lean woman blues he says he is on the sand in the land of you with the sky in my hand and I'm blue. He is always so minuscule in comparison to the universe. Yet, he was such a radiant personality and never faked the funk. He left exactly when he needed to because a life of longevity would've been a seemingly unintentional contradiction to his essence. It is as if he was 70 years old talking to us today...and if he were alive...you would have to ask him...come on Marc did u really believe what u expressed so sincerely in 1971 and 1972 ( his biggest years)? Marc never liked ripping anyone off. Marc lived and manifested his destiny. Truly a romantic rocker. John keats would be envious of marc. Beauty is a joy forever, even if it is for a second.

he died because he had to. he knew he was here for one reason only, to do the best he could to be Marc. He had a gift to give us. like Jimi Hendrix, a special message to people and love. Marc knew what was coming, imagine living with that and smiling.

Marc Didn't get to Château d'Hérouville, Val d'Oise, to record 'Hot Love' until March 1972, following T Rex US tour throughout February.

Timeless classic so natural, I was test driving a car that I was going to buy, and unknown to me I ended up in the road way where he had his fatal accident. The car passenger said to me this is the spot where Marc Bolan died. At that moment I felt his spirit and presence there, this I will never forget.

A great pity that we lost Mark Bolem at such a young age. What a career this man should have had. SAD!
