Maybe it's not the best anyone could have done, but it's above & beyond what I would call "sloppy". Maybe it's not perfect, but to even get THIS far requires a great amount of talent. He keeps up very well. This isn't half bad at all.

This is definitely Shavo's playing. Not to put him down, but he isn't incredibly creative with parts, and that's why I can tell this really him. Also, sometimes his playing is a little sloppy, especially live. But if you put this together with the rest of the music, you'll realize it's truly him.

Also, how do you manage to highlight one instrument like this and drown out the rest? I notice that this is the actual studio version because I can faintly hear the rest of the instruments far away in the background.

The sound works for the way the band sounds. It wouldn't roll good with a pop group or a funk group. But this is System of a Down for god sake! It sounds good for what they do!

3:08 well this is weird. Daron is the shortest in the band, but he seems taller than Serj in this picture. And Serj and Shavo are the tallest in the band.
