I love his nasal vocals. I feel it makes his clean vocals stand out from the pack of the many scream-sing vocalists out there. The choruses on Slave Design were particularly catchy and full of emotion, yet had a nasal tone to them

It's not lack of emotion, it's the vocoder used for the voice which kinda makes him sound like he has a cold. This is a common criticism for the whole album, but I don't mind it. Still badass music. Listen to the other albums and you'll hear the difference.

can't say I like such emotionless vocals or his voice in general. this all makes vocals look sooo secondary to the music.
