The whole idea of making a cover (at least in my mind) is to make a tune sound completely different while keeping the lyrics and to some measure the overall metric. You can't just say that the original is better, or that this version is better, simply because they are basicaly 2 different songs. Listen to Seether - Careless Whisper (Wham! cover) or System of a Down - Snowblind (Black Sabbath cover) and you might understand my point of view. It's ok. Maybe even less than that. Props to them for having the good taste to cover an excellent song. For all these debates about which version is better in a covered song scenario- an original version is always to be respected more than a copy, which is nothing more than a tribute. 11 years ago

The original had more emotions to the vocals, compared to this one, the emotions is more expressed through the instruments. I just don't think that the other is better is better that the latter and vice versa. They are both good. 11 years ago
