Out of all the shoegaze bands I always have held Swervie higher up because of their musicianship. They seemed to know how to play their instruments much better than the other bands of the genre. Don't get me wrong, I love the other bands but Swervie is by far my favorite.

An incredible track that builds to an awesome close. Too bad a change didn't come to the music industry in 1992-93. For the most part, radio still favored homogenized pop. Labels were clueless and hardly adventurous. Even a cool label like Creation pressured the Swervies to go Britpop in 95. It was akin to advising Lord Olivier to go slumming at the end of his career and appear in such turgid nonsense as A LITTLE ROMANCE, THE BETSY, and CLASH OF THE TITANS. But the Swervies were still young.
