seen him many times in Atlanta at a very small venue, he is one of the most humble guys you could imagine! I will see him every time he plays!

@voidstuff Yep. King Crimson since 1981, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, and probably others.

I liked his mention about discipline (2:34) in the process of putting his own sound ideas together. For instance, the only time I could see and listen him alive, he was just playing the amazing Discipline themes within King Crimson, back in memorable 21.Aug.1982! :-)

Now I know why I like Adrian Belew's style, because I'm a drummer and he started as one. yay!

Adrian, you are out there and I love what you do - blazing your own trail. The Parker signature is like you so eloquently put it, "state of the art," however, I just can't see anyone buying that instrument. That is *severe* sticker shock to me. Peace.

Adrian was in Frank's line-up from 77-78, and he's prominently featured in Frank's film, Baby Snakes - including an amazing version of City of tiny Lites. Bowie scooped him up one year later.
