Believe it or not, but the original singer of this song was a 15 years old Brian Adams. He was first to sing it prior to Sweeney Todd finding Nick Gilder who recorded it for the album.

Sweeney Todd played at my high school in Sooke in 1976 or 77? They played Roxy Roller twice. Probably the last time they played a small venue. Still have their album.

Rockin Canadian glam. My pal had the LP in '74, I saw them live twice in the '70's, Once in a Nanaimo rink, with a replacement singer, then with the unknown, still slummin' it Bryan Adams at my high school in Squamish. Bryan had long feathered blond hair, de rigeur for the times, then he ran the band for their next album before breakin out solo.
