The difficulty in not singing "Where does a body end?" along with the song...

This is like Michael Gira having an impromptu jam with the Smiths. (For the record I'm into that.)

Don't take it offensively. Nobody said their lyrics are the same. Just the voice. Voices don't make lyrics.

Michael Gira sounds like Serj. Not the whole band sounds like SoaD. dealwithit

@burzum56 that sounds pretentious. you're pretentious. stop being an ass about music. Nargaaz was and still is wrong, we get it, you don't need to jump in with your opinion.

Can we just be clear about this? SOAD sounds nothing like swans. Swans is itself a different entity, it is not music....It is so much more, more than therapy, more than enlightenment, love, passion or emptiness...It is swans

The minimalist "video" makes perfect sense for the Swans (at least their first phase, if not this one).

this reminds me of the darkest coldest most fucked up period of my life, and its awkwardly comforting hearing it again now through my cans full bore. Heroin, its a hell of a drug.

@Nargaaz Maybe a little. This album came out a decade prior to Hypnotize, though, so SOAD sounds like Swans =) That being said, they're both wicked good bands.

I've only heard swans tonight, but they are amazing! I'm glad I got a chance to hear them.
