June 22 1990, Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles.  This tour was the first of three times I have seen her in concert, and it was still the best...a great show, a great venue, a great album, and SV could do no wrong for me at this point. (Funny, I always thought her concert background singer was Shawn Colvin, because her voice was very similar to Shawn's pieces on the studio album and because she looked a little like her.)  I wore out her first three CD's listening to them so much, and her fourth and sixth were close behind. Fell in love with her music and her words (and her personality and beauty) in 1986, and will always have a special place in my heart for this woman (as my handle suggests). Very few have touched me deeper than she has...just an amazing artist with zero BS factor.

Wow, loving the natural beauty in those opening shots. She has what lots of moms call "a face for makeup", meaning she does not actually need it & can take it or leave it. I like her longer hair styles MUUUCH better, though. (Plus she obviously knows how to deal with irritating showbiz people...Miss Straightforward of NoBullshit Boulevard.)
