I'm gonna say it has more to do with money. Blues and jazz combined only make up 1% of all music sales, so most record execs consider the risk to be too high. But there new band, if I recall correctly, is on Sony, which has gotten pretty big

I never got the Bonnie Raitt comparison...Even though Susan is getting pretty &^%$ing good at guitar, you're still comparing a guitar playing singer to a singing guitar player. Thats not the same thing.

I'm suffering from a severe psilosybin deficiency. Anyway, I saw one even uglier...a salmon-pink jaguar with a tortise-shell pickguard. I love Fenders, but they make some ugly *&%$. My tele is "cobalt blue" with a pick guard that looks like crumpled up aluminum foil...Anyhow, I'm glad she took the Whinnie the Pooh stickers off of hers.
