Rise and shine , it's a beautiful morning and the birds are singing , the sun is shinning, the kitties are fed, and I am reading newspapers online. Everything came up roses for me yesterday with the US women's succor team winning , Vanderbilt winning in the college world series, and ;Cleveland losing the NBA championship. Then I read NASA claims we are running out of water to drink. I recall reading at least 50 yrs ago that overpopulation would deplete the earth's resources and the first would be potable water. Guess they were correct. Dark clouds on the horizon.

After a very hot week for early June I've finally had a couple days of cooler temps and a bit of rain (well, I'm not sure I can say "a bit" when rivers all around me are flooding). Today and yesterday have been perfect for some final transplanting of wildflower and salvia little ones. Daily I am still fighting my baobob battle with volunteer locust trees. They're popping up all around their former tree stumps and some as far away from said stumps as 15 yards (just over 13 m). Infernal things - I'll have to root them out for months!

Mildred, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Losing someone so close is never easy and I'm sorry you're experiencing such sadness. Perhaps a nice sherry in a crystal goblet will help comfort you at this sad time.

Hello mildred. Weather has improved, but not going to last by all accounts. I'm very sorry for your loss. When you suffer loss like that, the weather is the least of your problems. Take care.

Been nice weather this week but I have been too sad at the loss of my dear friend and sister-in law to get my head into anything even good weather.I am having a big struggle as I still expect to see her.Kind of hibernated since the funeral seemed easier.Hope next week will be better and that you all have a bit of Summer .Nice to see you Ta Ta maybe Jim deserved it we know what brothers [in fact any man] can be like.Carol I wonder if our American family know what a close is ?

OK, I figured it out. The Gods said I was rude to my brother. I'm sorry Jim. (...but it's just so much fun teasing you!!) Then they allowed me to figure out I had to re-sign in to YT to get an initial comment written rather than a reply. Hope all is well with each and every one of you!!Brenda Star #5: I also have too many tomato plants! A snail got one of them last night though. Today I will tear out some more poppies and spade the soil. Then more tomatoes can go into the ground. Soon the Pubsters will dine on salsa. Yum!!

Hello. I've just been sitting out in the sun. Nice sunny evening, so I took my tea outside. Two great days, but I'm told there will be a change on Saturday. Hi to Jim and Tatas. Great to see you both here. Hope Brenda is getting the same weather as myself. I shall send some your way Brenda. Hi Mercedes. What is your weather like? Could we all be getting summer at last? Busy day again. I have to go for a haircut. Allan has a wee job to for the fellow next close. But he's also expecting delivery of a new golf cart. And I can't be here to get it.......lolOff to get my cuppa now.

Hi everyone. Glorious day today. And warm too. Got all my washing done and out, and have just taken it all in. And it's still a bit warm. Could this be summer? Whatever it is, long may it continue. Had to pay the balance due for my summer holiday today. It just seems a long time till September 5th. Allan said it'll be on us before we realise. But it won't. It'll take ages. I have got no patience......lolGot a bit of gardening done today. Tomorrow I've got a hospital appointment and I'm meeting Allan for shopping. Busy day.So how is everyone? All well I hope, and getting some decent weather.Might call in later.

When someone says, "It is actually encouraged by some", the word "some" is called a qualifier which could mean 2 people or 2 million people, therefore the entire statement is essentially meaningless and you need not read on.TB's example of Christian domestic discipline is an article about 2 people called Clint and Chelsea and a small website, not the entire Christian community or even a fraction of Christians.
