Actually, the *general* pattern I see in this show is that Janet's verse of Superheroes is sung more "impressively" than Brad's. Is that in the script, or is it just a coincidence.

I don't really see it as oversung. If you look at the Roxy Cast and original London cast, both Belinda Sinclair and Abigail Hannesse (sp?) sing it in this same fashion. Susan Sarandon was the first time I heard it sung the way she did. Remember, it's not just a tribute to the Rocky Horror Picture Show film, it's a tribute to the whole shebang that is The Rocky Horror Show, the themes, the music, the movies, and various renditions of the stageplays.

I agree. It's not supposed to be a huge vocal performance. Adrian Edmondson gets it right here, but Joanne doesn't. (Even though her voice is impressive.)
