Over the years I've struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. I got hurt by religion-many people use the name of Jesus to justify hurting others whether by word or by actions. I found healing in a relationship (not religion)- a relationship with Jesus Christ! Listening to music like this, talking to Him, listening and looking for Him in everyday life and reading His words has helped me heal. I constantly keep a watch on what I put in my mind! I love music in general but here are some songs that really help heal my soul: "The Broken Beautiful" By Ellie Holcomb, "I Am" by David Crowder, "Gold" by Britt Nicole, "Just Say Jesus" by 7eventh Time Down. And of course anything by Lacrae and Toby Mac! Turn it LOUD and dance like nobodys watching!!!! God is good!

I really like this song. I know it is about people who struggle with eating issues but it makes people who struggle with addiction feel good too. Like they can beat their addiction. I have a lot of compassion for the people who struggle with this issue. I had a friend who struggled with this issue in High School and was really depressed and she beat her anorexia and went on to become a success in life. :)
