Damnit, an arrangement is made with some of the players own style, while the cover is almost exactly like the song is. I completely disagree. I think the jazzy licks and fills he adds gives the song some flavor. Bob-omb Battlefield already had a kind of jazzy feel to its theme; he just emphasizes it and adds some neat variations.

just like someone previously wrote. the beginning blows. you've ruined super mario 64 main theme by adding some poorly executed and way too hectic fillers. from 01:20 it starts getting very good. But to slow parts don't throw in random fast paced things like you're doing. some of them fit, other's don't. Well that's atleast my oppinion. :) Looking forward to hear more from you.
