This song sounds, to me, like it could be a reference to IT by Stephen King. The lyrics just seem to set up that narrative: A man who returns to his old town to defeat the darkness that had taken over him. Even the line where he mentions his brother and his voice echoing through the rain seems so specific to a scene where the main character's brother dies on a rainy day. Anyways, I love this song! Really has that nostalgia packed in.

Wow... Really been waiting for this album to come out, and it really is better than I could possibly have hoped for. Just like the previous Sundowner albums, this is simply amazing. I love it! Think this track has to be one of my favorites. <3
