i know that video.. and if you listen he tells, that he uses "some of his old guys" which are the old classic STRAIGHT jcm 800s backstage.. doesnt matter though, i like his tone, so i like the 800s.. and if you like your tone like the mg100hdfx... but its all subjective.. i thought they sounded aweful though ^^

watch?v=2Jd0zypZlXY i watched the video again, for the like 5th time. i was mistaken i thought the name was going to be a 900 but its going to be as Zakk says, "a straight balls to the wall" JCM800. however, he does NOT use it straight. watch the video, dunlop makes his signature pedals for a reason. everyone has their own opinion on what they like and dont like, i was able to get the tone i want from the MG100HDFX. if you cant get what u want out of it that is your problem

actually he uses straight jcm 800s live and in the studio.. and, in my opinion all transistor amps that marshall make suck way too hard, so i wouldn't recommend buying one.. but it's all about opinion... even though i love marshall and have one..
