tribute or not, all of xjapans new songs are about hide. just like the majority of xjapans old songs were about yoshiki's father. it's hard not to connect the new songs lyrics to hide...and yoshiki can't say they're specifically about hide cuz he'll probably get sued by headwax in some form of way. as for sugizo's songs such as this one, i have no clue. lol i like the song a lot mainly because of BICE.

Yes Jade really is for Hide <3 and as for this song - I didn't know that this was a part of the soundtrack since I never saw the movie and don't know where to watch it either...oh I knew about the hair...I liked that.. :)

Yoshiki said that composed Jade after visiting hide's grave. And by the lyrics, the song may be 'for hide'. You have a point here. :) But for Sugizo's song, I am quite sure that it wasn't for hide, but for the movie. AFAIK, Sugizo never composed a song for hide. His personal tribute was keeping his hair like hide's for an year.

i see BUT Jade IS written for Hide, that is a fact..! Also because of the certain lyrics in the song, you can guess it's about Hide because his ashes were "spilled" in the sea (somewhere near California, I think....).

People try to connect every sad thing that people close to hide compose as tributes to him. Like Jade, from X JAPAN, which some people insist to say that is a tribute to hide. Even Sugizo and hide being close friends, THIS song isn't dedicated to hide, but is part of the "Soundtrack" movie and is related to the movie, and not to hide. Try to find on Youtube the original PV, which is the first version of the song, with bice singing, and scenes from the movie, and you'll understand.
