How does he do that sound around 1.56?? Vic Dickenson often plays that trick on trombone. I have no idea how to do it (I play some trumpet as a side instrument).

I'm George's daughter -- and, while I wasn't there for this concert in Berlin (my mom was!), I attended most of their U.S. performances, from the time they launched in 1973 'til they broke up in '75. I can tell you for sure, they were still having a good time together on this stage; this is quintessential Braff-Barnes interplay. And any guitarist who wants to achieve excellence needs to carefully watch my father's work here. Just nothing else like it.

Beautiful old-style jazz from guitar legend George Barnes.

And they cut off the beautiful ending too. Sigh.

Love this take of this tune. I have a recording of the whole thing and this video always drives me crazy because they cut off the opening.
