No, as far as I can recall nothing like that happened on the Gold Coast. I did hear something mentioned on jjj about it happening at Syd or Melb.

true, but i had seen them play a hell of alot better than that! the daytime just dosn't seem to do them any good! and im happy muse didn't play any songs from the second half of there new cd. did u here there acdc song with the jet singer?

I agree though Rise Against, Temper Trap and Ladyhawke were also sensational. Perhaps you can see where I was coming from now in regards to your belief that Sugar Army should have been a headline!

So let me ask if you caught Muse at the BDO. Quite the performers yeah??

Sydney, matey. From memory, it's Grinspoon then Peaches in the Muse timeslot. I'ma gonna try hit up the Boiler Room for Groove Armada at the end of the night but by that time it'll be "good luck getting in!" =.=

I'm not sure which city you're off to but on the Gold Coast Muse only clash with Fear Factory so before scooting off to catch Groove Armada wrap things up in the Boiler room it'll be Muse for me I'd say. The Grinners rock!

I think I'm all Muse-ed out. I'll probably be getting reacquainted with Grinspoon for half of Muses timeslot anyway. Viva la Big Day Out!

Oh yeah that's what the BDO is all about, kicking on for the duration. This will be my first Gold Coast BDO but have been to about 8 or 9 BDO's in Melbourne. The crowds can get a bit hectic and the D Barrier always causes problems if you want to watch the headliners at the end of the day but I'll be running between different stages anyway. Muse will blow you away!

I haven't seen them live, but I certainly am looking forward to it :D I'm having an early start too, staying on all the way till muse rocks the end of my night, how are the crowds at BDO? :) I'm a first-timer

Classical music hey? I'm not a massive Muse fan but am pretty sure that's not an accurate description of their sound. Obviously you've never seen them live... Enjoy your early start!!

i wish they would! if i'd had to listen to classical music, i'd rather it b during the day when your busy getting wasted.
