b-side from Suede's The Wild Ones single taken from the fantastic album Dog man star.

Lyrics:

Sunday, Monday we lie around

But it's not easy

Someday, one day

We'll get sky and move away

And like the birds we'll fly tomorrow

Obscene machines that glide away

And like the birds we'll fly tomorrow

And like the birds we'll fly

From your Asda Town

Never coming down

'Cos they're take, taking it away

Sunday, Monday we lie in bed

But it's not easy

Someday, one day we'll cash

the "cheques" and drive away

And like the birds we'll fly tomorrow

Obscene machines that glide away

And like the birds we'll fly tomorrow

And like the birds we'll fly

From your Asda Town

Never coming down

'Cos they're take, taking it away

@FranklyMisterShankly i would recommend asking this on the official Suede forum instead, they sometimes have a lot of insight-information there ;)

So I own the original Wild Ones CD2 single which b-lists this song. The liner notes only acknowledge songwriting credit to Anderson, but say nothing about who performs on the piano and guitar. Seeing how Bernard Butler had already left before the single was released, is anyone aware whether he actually performed on this song or if it was Richard Oakes or perhaps even someone else?
