I was at this gig..I recall seeing Sublime a few times at 5902 ( on Warner) and that may have been when Brad was starting to use a lot of heriojn...sometimes he was in pretty bad shape..he'd pull it off but sometimes like the punk fest i 95 with guttermouth who encited a riot ..they could be just ho-hum..going through the motions...93-94 they were just starting to get that KROQ attention...they were know-sold out local gigs ...on name

Hey, there will always be great undiscovered bands to discover... not sure everything was better back in '94. Maybe you will start the next great band!! The key to Sublime's success (besides Brad's genius) was getting together with local talent in Long Beach, folks like Mike Happoldt and Marshall Goodman. Once we got an earfull of 40 Oz to Freedom, we were hooked! We were lucky enough to see them before KROQ put them on the map.
