All the lyrics sites say "rap that same old trash". Wouldn't it be "wrap that same old trash"? Is he saying the same old trash talk or is he wrapping his crappy marijuana into joints?

Love it, thanks! I got the album for Christmas when it came out. Yeah the vinyl version. It's always been a favorite even though I lost the vinyl version years ago. I was thinking about it today and wanted to hear....thanks again! Guess I need to get off my lazy ass and go buy the CD.

In the beginning, which guitarist plays the melody and which one plays with the drums?

The horns and sax in this song reminded me of another song many people probably have never heard of from a band that I would bet many people don't fully appreciate because they only had two "hits". A really killer song with a horn section is Cupid's Dead, by Extreme. I bought their GH CD and found this. Make sure you youtube the horns version though. The whole song really works well, especially with the addition of the horns. Give it a listen.

I'm 47 and was 16 when Paradise Theater was originally released. I bought it the very first day. I think it is very cool you are 16 now and enjoy it!

I'm 16 and have liked Styx since I was 11 e3e am I cool enough to be top comment nao lol Joking, joking. All jokes aside, I still love this song. It's probably one of my favorite Dennis songs. It has so much emotion and thought put into it. I think it's really unique and easily one of the best songs from Paradise Theatre.

This, along with Why Me, are two of Dennis DeYoung's underrated singles. At the time critics attacked them as being generic pop/disco tracks. If you actually LISTEN to the lyrics, you'll realize these were well thought out songs with heavy social commentary.

This song has some of the best lyrics I've ever heard. The chorus of 'nothing ever goes as planned, it's a hell of a notion' is one of the best lines in music history. It's just great!!!!!!
