1976 - Styx released the album "Crystal Ball."Most of the early pressings on the U.S. 7" single "Mademoiselle" played too fast (they were cut at the wrong speed 39 RPM). This made the song sound high-pitched.#dapimusic #mymusichangout #rockmusic #styx #onthisday #onthisdate

I LOVE how Dennis joins Tommy on the solo. On the album, it was just a soft guitar.

Didn't realize Tommy sang the lead on this. He is great as is JY and thanks for posting this.

Tommygun, you sir are the shit! I was at the Capital Centre show in '81. I also caught the '77 tour in Toronto, my first time seeing Styx. Still a favorite all time show. I've seen Styx a total of 10 times over the years but there is nothing like seeing them as a teen, and at their peak of awesomeness! Thanks.

Sounds like someone was listening to Queen "Killer Queen" 1974 when they wrote this song?

Such a pleasure watching this as I'm 52 years old and never have got to see Styx live, let em play Tommy dude, I'm loving it.... I believe this is the only record that I don't have, cause I wasn't familiar with it at all. But it sounded great. 1975 I was a Freshman who won the state typing championship in Class A of Texas! Whoo hoo! After hearing lady, i bought every record you guys ever made afterwards! Keep it up dude! "Dear John" is my fav, as sad as it had to be.... Love you brother!

Such an overlooked and under-rated song! Yeah sure, the classics like Come Sail Away, Renegade, etc. are all terrific, but please don't pass over Mademoiselle!
