If you enjoy Mage: The Awakening (or even Ascension, for that matter), you really should be listening to Stuart Davis. Like all of his stuff. It's awesome on its own, but his peculiar mix of Eastern mysticism and Western deconstruction is so very, very Mage. That and he's like a real life Mastigos - as in you could use his (public) persona, slap a Mage template on him, and you'd have a completely believable Warlock.Here's one of his "pretty and thoughtful" songs. He also does "rocking bad ass" (Smoke) and "just for fun" (8 Days in the Lotus).

@jvzelst It's been a good while since he's had a proper tour, though one can always be expected when he's got a new album out. I don't know what the hold-up is on his latest record, but it seems to be taking forever! When he finally releases it, though, I'm sure there will be much touring. So let's keep our fingers crossed and all hope for an announcement soon.

@jvzelst Stuart seems to perform in the Netherlands more often than he performs in my vicinity, and I live in the U.S.! haha Hopefully, when his next album comes out (It sure is taking long enough!), he'll make some appearances in the Netherlands, as well as across the U.S.

That comment wasn't intended to be condescending... though I can understand how it can be construed as such. It was referring to the beauty when you reach awareness of unity, and hear songs like this... and how not many people really purge themselves to discover true meaning. Example: When I first heard it, I thought it was a typical love song.
