I was really hoping this was a Metallica cover. That woulda been awesome. And the message in the song isn't at all antithetical to anything in Christianity.

One of rock's/metal's best bands, and I am glad to see/hear that they are maneuvering with their music. It is a great thing that they are sending out the word of god, but you sometimes enjoy when a band steps out of their 'original' skin and blasts their fans with something mind-blowing and phenomenal!!!! And, that's what Stryper did here................god bless you gentlemen!!!!!!Keep on rockin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is exactly what i was afraid of-not Christian my friends. Satan appears to you as an angel of light.

Would you condemn me for listening to non-Christian bands (I never listen to bands who hate Christianity, though), even though I'm a Christian very devoted to my Saviour? Let me ask you this: who gave you Christ's judgement throne?

songs you can hear styper play at there concert are Ozzy. judaspriest, black sabbath, ect. you dont see anything wrong with stryper playing those songs and even making a cd of all secular bands music? you think Jesus would go to a stryper concert and listen to judaspriest cover tunes?

That was one album, a bit of an experimentation, and that album was their 1990 album, Against the Law. Reborn, Murder By Pride, and the three original new songs ("God" on The Covering, "Bleeding from Inside Out" and "Blackened" on Second Coming), and the new album No More Hell to Pay all have the original message theme they had in the Yellow and Black Attack, Soldiers Under Command, To Hell With the Devil, and In God We Trust. It was one album, one experimental release. That's it.

Mrcooldude964 guess you need to listen to the lyrics on this song if you think they've left the message out.
