Thank you for sharing this. One of my favorite Tool songs, along with H and Parabola.

Chevelle actually modeled off Tool's older music when they first began their music career.

Umm.. I'm pretty much a Juggalo.... But Tool>ICP anyday... I actually prefer a lot over ICP and Psychopathic... Not all Juggalos are those mindless scum bags you are so used to seeing... Although it is the majority.

Can you imagine if the Juggalo thing tried to become sophisticated?

I think it would be pretty epic if Maynard sang while Vitamin String Quartet played

This and a lot of VSQ tributes really remind me of the soundtrack from Battlefield: Bad Company. That game had an amazing soundtrack, and VSQ are amazing musicians.

Yeah their time is off on some parts that are key to my love of this song. But, they did work to cover it in strings, so I'll virtually wave it.

Oh god they messed up a lot here...

I will admit that Danny Carey is the superior drummer. But your first comment is pretty ignorant. Have you ever stopped to think that there are more covers of Metallica available because Metallica is more well known/popular than Tool? That's like stating that Green Day's music is more difficult than Led Zepplin's music because there are more covers of Stairway to Heaven than than of American Idiot. You have to realize that more popular = more covers. This really has nothing to do with difficulty

Every guitarist I know that listens to metal knows Master of Puppets, which I'll admit is a difficult song, but let's take a moment and notice that the guitar in Tool isn't even the best part. I don't think that Lars could do half the shit that Danny Carey could do.

I'm hoping you're saying this because you don't play any instruments. I'm a massive Tool fan and I don't even like Metallica, but Tool's songs aren't exactly that difficult. I can assure you that Master of Puppets is actually harder than Lateralus. Lateralus just sounds more complicated on paper because of the multiple time signature changes, but if you actually learn how to play guitar and learn this song, it's actually not very difficult. So please state actual facts instead being a fanboy.
