Well at least the thing that we know is true in the metal scene is that bands like striker are probably in this mainly because they love Metal, and people listen to it because they love metal. So at least they love what they do even if they aren't properly recognized. I think alot of metal bands take pride in being different from the mainstream. Good metal may not have a huge following in the mainstream, but in the underground and local shows there is a strong community still there.
