The Stray Cats are a rockabilly band formed in 1979 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer (Bloodless Pharaohs/Brian Setzer Orchestra) with school friends Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York. The group had several hit singles in the UK, Australia and the U.S. during the early 1980s.

My favourite version, it combines the better musical elements of the Bobby Fuller Four's version with the faster pace of The Clash's version.

there are so many versions of this song...it took me forever to find this one. Everyone has their favorites, but this was the first version I ever heard so it has always been my favorite.

Two versions were recorded. One around 88/89 as a b-side for Bring It Back Again. The other one in 1992 for the Original Cool album.

@BorisMaric Actually you can easily find the other one on youtube. I think that is the more well-known. Youtube won't let me paste the link here, but you'll find it. I myself would be interested to know why there are two. I mean, when each was recorded and for what album.
