The sun is setting on the pain the people freezing in the rain the

Earth is rolling in her grave

I beg the light up in the sky to make me whole,

to tell me why I can't be bothered to be brave

and I've been waiting, and hesitating, and then I see the curtain fall:

the wonder of it all

my heart was blind, but now I see I know the power and the glory of the world

I took a breath and now I'm free I feel the glory of the world

the demons sometimes find a way there's nothing keeping them at bay

but for the power of my mind

the road to paradise is long and halfway there,

I'm heading wrong I'm leaving all the pain behind

the wonder of it all my heart was blind,

but now I see I know the power and the glory of the world

I took a breath and now I'm free I feel the glory of the world

as a budokai fan it's actually awesome hearing this as a whole song. taking a riff i liked from something else and putting it in a kickass song.

Been a Stratovarius fan for years (saw them and met them live in 2006 with Tolkki, Kotipelto, Johansson, Porra, and Michael). I've beenna DBZ fan since the 90s. While I never played the Budokai series (seems like I missed out), I think it's awesome that the two worlds come together here. I always thought that some symphonic/progressive metal could fit into anime/video games and vice versa. That said, I do think that Kenji's adaptations for "Glory of the World" and "Infinity" feel more epic than the Stratovarius originals.

it might only be because this song was copied in the soundtrack of a dbz game, but i can't help but get dbz vibes whenever i listen to this.

TitsFunHuh

look at all these retarded 12 year old kids who came from a shitty dbz game which has plagiarized music (strato is way better than that faggot japanese copycat btw). Lmao shame on you newfags.

Oh yeah. There's no denying it. DBZ ripped this off, hardcore. I almost feel guilty for loving that version so much... almost.

"Video game composer Kenji Yamamoto copied three songs from the album with minor changes. The songs "Hunting High and Low", "Glory to the World", and "Infinity" can be heard with minor changes but not performed by nor with consent of the band. In 2011, Toei Animation released an official statement claiming that Yamamoto may have infringed on copyrights and subsequently re-released the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series with new music." -Wikipedia

This sounds like a Metal gear rising song.

That snippet in the beginning, I know I have heard it somewhere before and not from DBZ. The closest I can think of is either some Hammerfall or Sabaton song.(Edit: It seems it was White Death that cause that feeling)
