I agree w/ u since it took me quite a while 2 get used 2 some of their solos ,but after listening slayer for about a month a came to realize the genius behind their strange solos.I believe that these solos played a big role in slayers rise to popularity cause it was something that separated them from the rest of the thrash metal scene .Ive been listening to thrash for quite a while and i still havent found a band with such solos.Slayer had the guts to create a unique sound and thats why theyre#1
