I lived this for over 30 years! MY "Brown Sugar" was my wife for 38 years until I became "too old" for her. She was 10 years younger. We were married in 1974 and had our son in '78. It was hard to say the least! Our parents were OK with it, BUT our extended families, not so much. Same for our friends. Close friends were OK, BUT others acted like so many do today.

Had this song stick in my head for years but couldn't recall the title or artist. So glad I finally found this track. Great thing bout The Midnight Special was that the artists performed "live" no lip syncing. Amazing song and sound from this band. Def got a Rod Stewart sound to his voice and if u watch any Black Crows video or live show back to back with this clip you'll c the obvious but very cool influence. 70s sound man, like no other.
